Month September 1969

September 14, 1969 — Sunday

I had a fair night. No dyspnea. Sleep was quite good without any medication. I got up at 5:15 a.m. Shaved, took my shower and attended the special private mass at 6:30 a.m. at San Beda, private chapel. Returned home for breakfast and afterwards took my morning nap. It is now 11 a.m. and I have some discomforting dyspnea. I will take oxygen inhalation.

September 13, 1969 — Saturday

I had a bad night. I slept two hours in the arm chair under continuous oxygen. I wanted to rest in bed longer during the morning but I had to introduce Doctor Pacis to Sister Ingoberga at the hospital and then rush back to Cancer Clinic to see a patient from China Bank.

I had a light luncheon , and a two hour siesta. At 4:30 p.m. I met John G. Brimo in his office and we went to Luneta for some fresh sea air. We parted at 6 p.m. as he had a dinner engagement.
