About the Diary of Jorge Vargas

The diary of Jorge Vargas was written during his detention in Japan (in Tokyo’s Sugamo Prison) for a nine month period from 1945-1946, and was published as an appendix in The Burden of Proof: The Laurel-Vargas Collaboration Case by Teodoro A. Agoncillo (University of the Philippines Press, Manila, 1984).
